Goya Robles definitely represents all of the above! After seeing him perform at The Actors Studio Drama School I knew this man was going to accomplish great things . Since then he's been apart of the HBO Latino film festival and is now releasing his new album. Don't be fooled though, these are just some of his recent projects. He's been writing and performing as a Slam Poet for years and has performed in various universities, Slam Poet competitions and in the historic Nuyorican Poets Cafe, home of many great poets. Goya is definitely a star on the rise and making positive moves in his career. So keep your eye on him!
Goya will be having his Pre-Album release party this upcoming Wednesday, July 21st @ Concrete Bar (320 West 37th street) from 7-10pm. The event will have many talented poets performing including Goya himself and a surprise Def Jam poet guest. Come support great talent and a night full of positive energy, good music, and creativity!
