Love it for Less - Burberry Prorsum v. Rainforest Trench Coats

If you were drooling all over the trench coats featured in the Burberry Prorsum Spring 2010 ad campaign (you know the one with Emma Watson looking nothing like the Hermione we're used to from Harry Potter), then I've got news for you. The brand, Rainforest, has taken a similar approach to their trench coats using gathered detailing on the front panel and at the sleeves instead of the full-on ruching incorporated in Burberry Prorsum's design (and seen in many of the other items featured in this season's collection). Burberry Prorsum's expert detailing (signature checked satin lining, and luxe cotton fabric) will set you back roughly $3500 while Rainforest's figure-flattering trench originally retailed for $250 - but get this, you can now buy it on sale! I'd let my fingers do the running nimbly to the nearest computer. At these prices, they won't be around for long.
