Having been prominently brought to light via a series of projects with The Hundreds, illustrator and tattoo artist Jun Cha makes the move to footwear in this upcoming collaboration with C1RCA. Fusing his signature black and gray tattoo style with C1RCA’s Hatchet model, the sneaker’s theme symbolizes “the transition from death and sacrifice to freedom and growth of one’s true roots.” The Jun Cha x C1RCA “The Black Tear Project” Hatchet will be limited to 100 pairs and will release on April 30th, 2010.
