Going back into its archives, A Bathing Ape pulls the cult-favorite SK8 STA out for a textured rendition of the skate shoe silhouette. Making sure not to alter too much of the sneaker's design -- a model not only for casual wear, but also doubling as a shoe you could skate in -- the LIZARD SK8 STA continues to see a padded tongue and collar, yet all the while, borrowing cues from the iconic AF-1. Branding is far from scarce on this shoe, as 'BAPE' along with the star motif is present at the tongue, outer sides, upper heel, insole, and at various places on the outsole. Made from embossed polyurethane and rubber, the Bathing Ape LIZARD SK8 STA collection is available now at BAPE's online store for ¥17,640 JPY (approximately $172 USD).
