Photographer Captures Essence Of Greek Life At HBCUs [Video]
Despite attempts by filmakers like Spike Lee (School Daze) and Sylvain White (Stomp The Yard) it has been almost impossible to capture the true spirit of Fraternity and Sorority life on film–until now. On April 10th photographer John Ledbetter, a member of the Beta Gamma Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc at Virginia State University, posted a highlight reel from a recent probate show of Spring 2011 initiates.

Lost: The End - Overall thoughts

I recently found out that Lost Ended last Sunday and being a big fan I total didn't see this happen till it's normal air date. Having watched the entire series, I get alot of mixed feelings like I'm sure alot of people do. Some Seasons it was down right addicting to watch and some felt like fillers episodes (but still good), either way the show has it's way of keeping you hooked (for most people) but cuts you smack dab in the middle of things *instrument plays*. I got into Lost around the 3rd season and had no clue what was going on or who was who and what their relation was to the story so I did what anyone else would. (SPOILER ALERT! DO not read on if you don't want to know the ending of the Series)
Remember Gumby?

A very cool Montage on a very cold very snowy day.

A Eulogy for things left unsaid.
Here we have a Eulogy for things left unsaid. Unfortunately in reality when you leave something unsaid no one else can say it. No narrators and pretty films with musical scores in the background for us. Just the things you say and the things you do not. Make sure you get it right won't you? Enjoy.

Conan O'Brien sets NBC straight
I had no idea Conan O'Brien was this funny. Is this what I've been missing all along? He takes it to his employer on the show they employ him to do in Spanish! He's the man... smh

Slipping
Ever feel like your slipping? Like your teetering on the edge of something that will change your life forever? Henry has. Consume please :)

Visioneer
Feeling that post industrial post post modernist angst on overdrive lately? Feel as though your going to explode? So does George. I have a feeling I missed hearing about this film because of the current state of the economy. Angst and other such things require stability. The drudgery feeds off of it so I assume this film didn't strike quite the cord it meant to when it premiered last year. Either way its pretty dam funny. :)

These things always get me
Drink in the vastness of the Universe. We are so small. So tiny. And yet, here on earth we are everything. We loom so large. Our conciousness is so foreboding. We are a tiny thread in a large spool of yarn. And yet, to us, we matter more than the yarn itself. Being human is grand. Paratke!
