What's the name of that Band? SOUNDHOUSE, this slogan can be heard all over New York City, where the new powerhouse band called “SoundHouse” are sweeping across the tri-state with their unique, elegant, and soulful sound. “SoundHouse” was formed in April of 2007, and since then they have been working hard to spread their special sound to the world. The band is made up of a vocalist (Mr. Reed), Guitarist (Patrick Deeney), Saxaphone/Flute (Camille Thurman), Base (Gabriel Luce), Drums (Brad Koegel), and Trumpet (Wayne Tucker). All band members are from New York City, bringing a combination of ideas and different influential sounds to set Soundhouse apart from others. The style of the band is that of Hip Hop, Rock, Jazz, Soul, Funk, Gospel, World music and all genera’s that are not easily defined. The sound of “SoundHouse” Cannot be easily put into a category of music, which makes them a force to be reckoned with being that their sound will touch many.

"SoundHouse” Embodies NY Embodies the World." This is the quote that all the band members use to represent “SoundHouse”. The band understands that “SoundHouse” music is the spiritual and musical embodiment of New York, and New York embodies the world. With Songs like “Molly's Ghost”, “Things will get better”, and “Tonight is our night” “SoundHouse” has definitely set themselves up as the catalyst to normal band music. “SoundHouse” is so different and diverse that not only can the younger generation play the music of “SoundHouse” but the older generation (Parents, Grandparents) can also feel the good vibes of good music. The goal of the band is too write and produce great music that people will respect.
